Ms. YUAN XIAOFENG is also an academical expert of Chinese teaching. She used to be the editor of Chinese textbooks of People's Education Publishing House, Teacher of the national backbone teacher training class, Chairman of the judging committee of the CCTV Children's Reading Club, the visiting professor of the Guangdong Principals Training Base. She served as the executive director of the Curriculum and Teaching Theory Professional Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Education Society. She also has rich experience as both Principal of Public School and Principal of International School.
Foreign Principal David Michael Krupski
Mr. David Krupski was born and raised in the United States. Having younger siblings, David took on the role of teacher at a young age and continued that path into adulthood as he became a social studies teacher after university studies. While teaching, he continued his education by earning a Juris Doctor in Law and a Master's Degree in Education and Leadership. After successfully teaching in the United States for 15 years, he moved to Germany and then to China for School Leadership roles in Bilingual Schools. In joining VPA, David is excited to bring his passion for teaching and learning, collaboration, and supporting colleagues to ensure we are meeting the needs of all students at VPA.
Deputy Principal Connie Li
Dr. Li holds a Master's and Doctoral degree in Education from the University of Hong Kong, along with teaching qualifications certified in the United States and the United Kingdom, and advanced certification in IB (International Baccalaureate) teaching and research. Prior to joining Victoria Park Academy, she has taught in mainland China and abroad, and worked at Victoria Shanghai Academy for over seven years. Beyond teaching and administration, she serves as an IB MYP (Middle Years Programme) examiner, possessing extensive practical experience in IB curriculum and pedagogical research. She has conducted numerous workshops in Hong Kong, mainland China, and Taiwan. As a research-oriented educator and administrator, Dr. Li is deeply passionate about concepts such as the integrated model and holistic development in international curriculum education.

Leading Victoria for more than 30 years, Dr. Koong is currently the Principal of Victoria (China) Education Group, the founder and the Head of Academy of both Victoria Shanghai Academy and Victoria Park Academy, and the Principal of Victoria Kindergarten in Causeway Bay. Dr. Maggie Kong holds a Master of Education from the University of Hong Kong and a Doctor of Education (Bilingual Education) from Durham University, UK. She was elected as a member of the Election Committee of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in September 2021. He is also an executive director of the Chinese Society of Education, and has served as a board member of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (2015-2021) and Chairman of the World Organization for Early Childhood Education (OMEP) (2014-2017). Dr. Koong also received a HKSAR Bronze Bauhinia Star and was appointed Non-official Justice of the Peace (JP) by the HKSAR Government.

Foreign Deputy Principal Kevin Franklin
Mr. Franklin hails from Canada and holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Canadian English Literature and Education, as well as a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the United States. Mr. Franklin possesses extensive teaching and administrative experience. Before joining Victoria Park Academy, he held positions as a teacher, administrator, and principal in both public and private schools in Canada, the United States, and Kuwait. With his wealth of teaching and management experience, Mr. Franklin brings a deep understanding of strategic school development and the curriculum requirements and expectations of students across different grade levels. He is a visionary leader with a strong educational passion.
Victoria Park Academy Shenzhen (VPA) is the first K9 bilingual school founded by Victoria (China) Education Group in Mainland China. Dr. Maggie Koong, Head of Academy of Victoria Shanghai Academy Hong Kong, will be the Chief Principal to lead VPA. The Victoria Educational Organisation (VEO) was founded in 1965 and was introduced to the Mainland in 1998 by Dr. Koong. The Victoria (China) Education Group was then established. Victoria has been providing a high standard of education to children in Mainland and Hong Kong for over 20 years.
